Founded in 1984 by Roger and Betty Stevens as Custom Courier, we began by delivering parcels on a contract basis in both Illinois and Wisconsin. As our customers’ needs changed throughout the years, we expanded our services and became Custom Express, a reliable logistics partner for air freight delivery, local cartage, inventory management, and short term storage solutions. Custom Express is a family business now operated by Bill Stevens. In June 2014 we moved into our new facilities at General Mitchell International Airport’s air cargo terminal, occupying over 23,000 square feet of cross dock space.
We have an experienced leadership team and many full time employees who have a combined 60 years of experience in order fulfillment, air cargo P&D, and shipping. All of our employees are TSA compliant. We have a dock facility that offers short term storage and warehousing, order fulfillment, distribution, delivery and pickup, cross docking, and more.
